I have a 6 week old chick that was sold as a buff cochin bantam. The chick has feather legs and noticeable ear tufts. I wish i could get a picture but until then does this sound like a cochin?
X2 on the picture, cochins shouldn't have ear tufts, but sometimes when their feathers are partially grown in they will do weird things.
Cochins shouldn't have ear tufts. Its possible that she is a Salmon Faverolle, as they look a bit like Buff Cochins as chicks, and have muffs and a beard.
I think the Faverolles was a good guess but the chick only has 4 toes not the 5 I think Faverolles have. Could she possibly be a buff laced colored easter egger?!
