feathers on ducks feet

i had a duck to hatch the other day and it has 3 feathers on its right foot and 5 on its left one

is this the actual feet or their legs? seems I remember sometime ago about someone posting about their duck having feathers on their legs. can you post a pic?

I have no idea it must not be very common though. Try googling and see if you can find any answers.

Breeding silkie feather footed ducks.. now there is an interesting idea! hahaha

Probably just a fluke. if you don't want to see it again I wouldn't breed this duck.

Start a line only breeding its young then grand young ect to it and parent possibly, until see more/only feather feeted completely, then sell to holderheads, and metzers, for easily half a million dollars, and they can then sell making a lot more and claim another "heritage" breed.
