Feathers on feet look rotten?

Feathers on my silkies feet look really worn or rotted away?? We got these four silkies 3 weeks ago and they were 14 weeks old and living in a closed up shed in wet bedding, I think that is what rotted the feathers. Will the feathers grow back and look nice and fluffy like other silkies?

Probably when they molt all will be well. In the meantime, if you're not already using apple cider vinegar (organic with "mother'), I heartily recommend it. Besides its other advantages, it supports healthy feathers.

No sign of scaly leg mites, I hope?

I do not know what the scaley leg mites look like....i will look them up and check it out...thanks
