feathers?

    This is Ariel, her feathers seem to be coming late. All her friends have their feathers and even the ones younger than her have the ones on their back and their tail feathers. Her back is still baby fuzz and so is her tail. Anything special I should be doing to help her?She is a month old on the 14th and we will be moving them outside soon.

    Really? It's a black sex link. She doesn't seem to comb her feathers like the others.

    Can you get a pic out from under the red light. One from the side as well as from above will help to figure out what is going on here. If that is indeed a sexlink then there may be something else happening.

    I think she is fine. For one month she is doing well in the feather department.

    Sometimes one is a bit slower than the others. I have a Brahma that is smaller and slower on the feathers too. She is still spunky and we adore her though.
