A few weeks ago, my boyfriend and I got some baby chicks from Tractor Supply. They were all in the same bin, and the sales associate didn't know which ones were which breeds. We got 3 yellow and 3 black chicks. One of the black ones had small feathers on its feet....well now his feet and legs are covered in feathers! we are new to chicken ownership and are kinda learning as we go....what type of chick dos we buy?! That is a Bantam Cochin; by the looks of the barring and comb, I'd say it may be a cockerel, though it's too young to tell for sure.
