Fed crickets to my chicks, it was hilarious!

    This is my favorite thing to do! The kids and I will search all day for crickets just so we can watch the fun. I'm glad you are enjoying it also.

    try moths!!! its funny when they fly and the chickies chase them!

    We bought meal-worms because I could just see my closet being full of crickets later...When they can go outside I'll do crickets!

    [​IMG] They love mealworms and waxworms too, but I'd have to agree that crickets and moths are MUCH more entertaining! I'll never forget when the ducklings were kidnapping frogs from our little pond. My 3 y/o niece loves the frogs, so she was chasing the ducklings trying to get them back. It was hilarious!

    I have thought about getting a card board box and cutting a small hole in it then putting a bunch of crickets for the bait shop in it to see what they do.

    Yesterday I introduced my 2 chicks to eathworms, which they loved! Even the really big ones were slurped up.

    My chicks were in a pen in the yard & the big chickens were roaming around. My BSL really, really wanted the chicks' worms so she was running laps around the pen, which upset my babies. [​IMG]
