You could put the feed in if you like, if it were me, I would wait and put fresh water in first thing in the morning. Exciting that your getting your chicks in the morning, do you know what time?

I've read that it's best to serve them 98 degree water with 1-2 teaspoons of sugar to the quart of water for the first day.

I have always given them regular tap water though and never had a problem.

If you're worried about it, go for it! Have you made sure the brooder maintains its temp? That's what I always got ready. [IMG]
