Can I feed 3 week old chicks grower feed?? I have about 16 chickens from 3 weeks to 7 weeks old and I am moving the older ones outside because the brooder is getting quite crowded and they are SO messy! I need to go get some grower feed for the older ones that will be going outside and the ones that are younger won't be far behind, I didn't want to get a whole bag of chick starter if I can transition them to the grower now.

What about flock raiser? I think it's safe to use for a wide range of ages, unless I am mistaken.

Hmm I hadn't heard of that. I don't think my feed store carries that. I just ended up getting a smaller bag of starter and a larger bag of grower.
