We feed our grown chickens fresh scraps. How old do our chicks need to be until we are able to feed them kale, romaine, strawberries etc.?

    Thank you

Hi, good question! If you are letting, the chicks have grit of some kind. Then feeding small bits of scraps won't hurt them. Not to much ,but just a small treat. I feed mine like that. Of course others may say No. But yes I do. Chicks can eat bits, just not to much. Mine are 6 weeks old.
