feeding baby chicks extra baby human food ???

    i have seen that people use yogurt and fruit to treat there chicks, could i use left over baby food? formula? milk? rice cereal? oatmeal with milk?

    yes as long as it is what they will clean up in 20-3 minutes
    now that the heat has come to some areas it would spoil if left out longer

    my girls LURVE oatmeal. processed baby food, I'm not sure about. rice cereal is probably fine. I wouldn't suggest formula.

    cooked beans and rice are good for poultry
    dry beans have a tocix in it
    that is why soy beans are always cooked or processed first

    As for rice when dry it will gather the moisture from the birds stomach and cause impacted gut
    SO always cook rice of any kind before feding it to chickens
