Can I start baby quail on Turkey starter? I just set some Jumbo brown and Texas a&M quail eggs. I asked my local feed store if they have game bird starter and they said they have game bird breeder but not starter and most people just use the turkey starter. I just plan on selling these so I don't want to buy purina game bird starter because it cost $17 a bag around here. Any thoughts?

Yes you can use Turkey starter but Purina Gamebird Startena would be better. There's a reason it's $17 other than the Purina name. Its 30% protein which gamebird chicks need.
