Feeding dual purposebirds

I am going to start taking in unwanted DP roosters and sending them to freezer camp. When I had my CornishX they got chick starter feed because of the high protein. If I want to fatten up my roosters and make sure the younger ones reach full size...do I feed them the starter feed too?

Many people do just that, but they can still free range. They plump up quickly with the higher protein feeds. Separating them into a smaller run to limit the running will also help.
