I am getting 25 meat chicks next week and was wondering if i need to feed them chick starter feed or just go straight to meat feed?

As I remember back when I did Cornish X, there was a specific starter for that type bird. You should as your chick supplier what they feed the birds when they arrive

Give them starter to... um, start, then after a few weeks switch over to... um, grower.

I've been using Nutrena Nature Wise Meatbird from start to finish and I've also had good luck. [IMG] (this is really me knocking frantically on wood after saying that!!)

are they day-olds? Probably chick starter to be safe. For at least the first few weeks...
