I have ducklings arriving this Thursday (possibly) or Friday.
I ordered un-medicated duck starter; however, the order wasn't placed. I've called around looking for some and everyone needs to order it in.

I have regular chicken feed, but I know that could kill them. So I am in a fix. Can anyone please tell me what I can feed them to hold them over until the feed arrives next Wednesday?

Which exact chicken feed do you have?

I am at day 24 and found a duck egg starting to crack :hmm
I started misting the eggs today and raised the humidity. I never misted before either. However a friend had a duckling arrive too early, the wee one pooped and was being vacuumed by the membrane. It's very weak and she doesn't know if it will make it. So, I'm scared the same will happen with my little egg. Any suggestions?
