I would like some opinions on what people feed their pregnant/nursing does. I hear some people feed them some parsley to help produce milk, does this work? Also should I feed them a little alfalfa hay. I feed mine Timothy on a regular basis.

For expecting and nursing does, I feed hay and add BOSS and oats to the alfalfa-based pelleted ration (free choice) until their kits are old enough to get out of the nest box. You can feed alfalfa hay while they're nursing, but timothy should be fine for the does if you're feeding an alfalfa-based complete feed.

I usually feed manna pro but tractor supply doesn't carry the GRO so I had to get southern states premium 18% I'm mixing with there regular food. I'm gonna try to get a small bag of BOSS. I think I'm gonna get some alfalfa cubes for them but continue their Timothy hay.
