Feeding question

    How old do chicks have to be to eat pellets?

    chick feed usually comes in crumbles and layer feed comes in crumbles and pellets. so if you are feeding layer feed the chickens need to be old enough to lay an egg, 18 weeks would be the earliest to feed layer feed.
