    Hi all,
We are Team Disco Robots, a lego robotics team of 9-14 year olds competing internationally in FLL. Every year they pick a different theme for us to research a problem and come up with a solution. This year's theme was Animal Allies and we picked the backyard chicken. We know feeding chickens can get expensive; so we built three prototypes to nurture soldier fly larvae. It's a low cost, easy to build, environmentally sustainable solution to supplement chickens' feed. It won't replace the typical pellets, but it's a help. Plus, you can easily retrofit it to drop right into the coop, making it a fun hide and seek game for your chickens. Will you take a look at our video and share your feedback? We're going to present our ideas at a tournament on December 3. Much appreciated.
