Hello everybody, ;)
A few days ago I read an article about a strange phenomenon: In Peru, there are blue eggs laying chickens.
This happens because the sulfur concentration in the soil in the Andes is quite high, so the chickens lay blue eggs.
Practically. Then you do not have to worry about dyeing eggs anymore

And now I'm wondering if I can feed my chickens sulfur in order to get these special coloured eggs.
Is this possible?
(Just to be clear, I do not want to give them much sulfur but just a little bit every day...)

Thank you for your answers
Lammy :)

try Easter Eggers known as EE"S they can lay blue, green, & pink eggs! i don't think you should feed your chickens sulfur :woot:wee:thumbsup:bunMY FAVORITE:wootGaby

I use sulfur and they do eat some, I never noticed any dif in egg colors, my birds are all EEs,,,, or maybe rainbow eggers as I cannot predict egg color from them
