feeding turkey poults & chicks together?

Can you put turkey poults & chicks together? & If you do what starter feed do you use?

i'm pretty sure the consensus is that you should NOT raise them together if you can avoid it. however i'm raising my one lone poult with chicks as i didnt have any other good options. one of the concerns is that turks get blackhead - which will kill them, but not the chicks

my poult is doing great and is the leader of the chicks - i've been using the chick starter but supplementing with more protein. if you have more turks then use turkey starter. thats my $0.02

but i'm sure there is more experience out there... anybody else?

I just read yesterday that for the first few days you can The chickens will teach the turkeys to eat and drink HOPE SO!!!!!!!!! I just orderd 15 turkeys and am going to add 5 to 10 meat birds also
