Hi I've aquired roughly 250lbs of wheat for free! Now I'm wondering how I could feed it to my backyard flock. Anybody have any suggestions? Is it ok to use as a scratch??

Yes. I would feed them layer pellets and the wheat also. Congrats on scoring on the free wheat! That's awesome!

Nice score! :) They LOVE wheat, that's for sure! Great scratch, you can ferment it, or even grow it as fodder or wheatgrass for them. Wheat is probably 25% of my feed mix, and they enjoy picking it out first, so any which way you choose to serve it up should make them pretty happy ;)
