nice comfortably hot Epsom salt water. For bumble foot you should soak it in mineral/epsom salt right?
The chick is acting normal and the thing on it's feet hasn't changedhow's your little chick doing?![]()
I'm using pine shavings from tscMake sure that the chicks’ bedding is dry and clean. It helps to use pine shavings or sand, and keep it stirred daily, adding clean every other day. Straw or hay or newspaper can hold moisture and bumble foot can become severe. I have personally never seen bumblefoot or pododermatitis in small chicks, but it can be common in older birds who suffer small cuts.
