So I was telling my fellow employee about the new duckies I acquired over the weekend to add to my current flock of 9 chickens and he says "you aren't getting all of these animals to fill some void in your own life are you?".

Geez! Can't someone just get some really cute animals for no reason??

I have had more than one person tell me that I rehabilitate and re-home animals because I secretly want a baby and i'm trying to fill my mothering instinct. That I should have a baby and fix that. the first person told me that when I was 17.

I'm 28 and just NOW starting to want a baby.
