I have some washable felt cat toy balls available for sale. I made these using a combination of both wet and dry felting, the wool used is from small US farms and dyed using high quality jacquard dyes. They have a jingle bell center so they rattle which drives cats crazy.
If a toy is starting to get dirty from use you can place it in a zippered pillow case and send it through the washer and dryer to wash and refresh it.
