If at all possible, next time give her an area away from the chickens! It is far less stressful on the broody hen. Happy she was able to become a mama!

I would love to separate the chickens and ducks, but they are all fensed in together with a pond built inside of it. They have a huge yard. But I have to protect the momma duck and her eggs like crazy from those busybody chickens! They go in the nest and mess it all up, kick out the eggs etc.
