Female Temminck's is on her way!

My male, Mr. T, was so very chatty this morning he must know that I have a girl on her way just for him! I have never heard him so talkative, right next to me, I do not know how to explain the noises he was making, maybe a deep "peep". The female should be here by Wednesday, hopefully tomorrow!

I just checked tracing and she left MN yesterday at 3 pm and should arrive today by 3 pm. SWEEEEET! Can I just put her in the enclosure with the others, wait till night, or something else?

Very nice, Happy!! I would wait until evening. Let her rest and gather herself a bit first.

He may be aggressive with her so be prepared. Ideally, I have been told to remove the male for awhile. If you can't then make sure there is a lot of thick, heavy cover if you can't take your male out for awhile. My Swinhoe male keeps the Temm's male from picking on the girls.

She had a GUARANTEED delivery by 3:00 pm today. Guess what, not here.

Last tracking info is that she is on CT. I called the PO and of course no one is there to explain why. I hope she is ok.

I got a call at 6:30 am this morning and immediately went to pick her up. That is 15 hours after their "guaranteed" arrival time. I just left a message with our local customer service rep, waiting for a return call. Shipping was $50 and she is a LIVE animal. She looks ok but I want to know what happened.

So glad she got there kicking. Now the fun begins. Can I get on the list now for babies????
