I have 4 peafowl, 3 peahens and 1 peacock. I know that I definitely have a pair that are 2 yrs old and the other 2 I bought from a feed store as pea chicks last summer. I thought they were females.. One is a black shoulder the other a cameo. They have recently started displaying their feathers and doing the little dance... Are they really males???? Now I'm so confused!!

They copy each other and both genders will display at times from chick to adult. Usually chicks and hens display when theres a threat as it makes them seem bigger. Beautiful peas by the way and yes, I agree, 1ea rooster and 3ea outstanding hens,[IMG].
