I just posted on CL about needing fencing, scrap wood, etc for chickens and a small hobby farm.....

This guy emails me and says he has 10 acres of used chain link fence

I am like, wow, that was fast!

I've got used chain link for my run. I only had 65 feet of it. I would love even half of 10 acres worth!

Yea and a good way to start the day? Someone else emailed me and said they have 56 ft of chain link fence, and I am welcome to it if I come remove it! I emailed back and said Yea!!

holy crapola! The first guy, sent me pics of the chain link fence he has. NO posts or rails, just 3 rolls of fence and some gates. It is all sooooo rusty it is orange and there are weeds growing up in it and then, get this...he says he wants $800 for it all

$800 for a pile of RUST?!!

The other guy said his fence is mine if I just show up to take it down. So working out arrangements for when.
