Fencing options for chicken yard......

I am developing a chicken run and want to know what is the best fencing for this? It will be a good sized area about 100 sq. feet, so hardware cloth is not an option.
6ft tall, 2"x4" wire on posts?
other?
what's been working for others out there?

We have racoons, skunks, coyotes, and bobcats as predators.

Use wire on post that will work out that is what i did.

Here is welded wire on 4x4" post that are concreted in at 30" deep.

Yes they are 2x4 top and bottom, everything is treated. Here is the entrance gate.

Hey Snake, that`s a nicely built facility you have there. I was wondering how you address the predator issue. Only thing that shows in the pics is what appears to be concrete under the gate area........Pop

Pop, I lock all birds at night so that is not a problem, also the closest neihbor is approximately 1/2 mile either way with no one in front nor behind me. I have been at this farm for 20 years now raising, hogs, quail, phesants, ducks and chickens along with row crops and have never lost a bird to any predator, walking or flying.

Has anyone seen the need to bury the fencing into the ground....for those predators that tend to dig?
