Fermented Chick Food Times and Portions

Hi Guys,
I have been fermenting food since day one and my chicks love it. However, Im curious how frequently you feed your flock fermented food. I understand chicks are supposed to have constant food (like every baby) but with the fermented food do you feed all day, once a day or twice a day? Right now they are getting a half portion in the morning and then a half portion at night before I go to bed. I also am thinking most people who feed ferment have chickens that are outside in runs already so maybe that makes a difference on when and how much you feed your girls, that once they head outdoors its time to cut back on the feeding times? I dont want to under feed or over feed.

I would be curious to find out what you guys are doing with your chicks and when you cut back.

Personally, I just always make sure feed is available to them and let them decide how much to eat. Chickens typically stop eating once they have satisfied their needs, they don't (usually!) over eat.
