Fermented Feed for Coturnix Quail?

Is FF recommended for cots? I make it for my chickens but not sure if quail can thrive on it or if it's a bad idea since they are not omnivorous like chickens. Sorry if there was already a thread on this, I searched but didn't find anything.

I just started feeding mine fermented feed twice a day. They have regular feed in free choice. They love the fermented feed though! see....

Here is a great thread on Fermented Feeds. I started to feed FF to my quail and some took to it right away. Others are still skeptical that it is edible.

My chickens did the same thing and now all of them eat it with gusto so I'm sure all the quail will eventually love it. FF is a great supplement to dry feeds as it ups the B vitamin and protein content of the feed. It also allows them to drink less water since the feed is saturated with moisture.
