Help fertile egg and no rooster ?? Maybe its me being an idiot but it looks fertile to me... they can't free range and I've had them since little chicks all between 8 and 6 months old

Do you have a better picture of the black and white one? A picture from the side that clearly shows the saddle area?

Parthenogenesis refers to the ability of unfertilized chicken and turkey eggs to develop embryos.
I read about this a few years back, mainly in turkey eggs. It is really rare in chickens. That egg does look fertile. This is the only explanation I can think of if it is not a rooster.

Oh okay hmm that’s odd. Have you ever let them free range? Do you know if there’s any feral roos?No and my chickens don't free range ... this one is definitely laying as is the grey one
