Fertile Egg?!

I looked at the fertile egg thread, and I've been cracking and eating fresh eggs for less then 2 weeks. Never noticed it before until I cracked some eggs for baking today.

I have PERHAPS 1 roo, but we still aren't sure and he's only 10 weeks old?!

Is this even possible?

If so one of these is the culprit....

I'm still trying to sex them and I'm going to post it in another thread over in that area. However, some have sexed them already weeks ago, and now I'm thinking the sexes are reversed from what I was told.

Very hard to tell from that pic, but it does not look fertile to me. Your rooster being only 10 weeks old is not mature enough for that yet. Give him maybe 6-8 weeks more then check again. Sorry, I dont do Silkies. Have to get sexing help from someone else on those featherdusters, LOL.

Oh, it's hard to get a good photo of an egg yolk! Too much glare.
