Fertile Eggs wanted

I started with Buffs one year ago. I have lost three as of today. I learn each day as I go. I am looking for fertile eggs as I have two broody hens ....I would like some fancy hens please. Respond to this post or email me at [email protected] am in Sheridan Oregon. Thank you....Joan

How are they doing? I checked around locally for fertile eggs as I was nervous about having them shipped.

I candled them last night and out of the dozen 6 are veining, 4 are clear, and 2 have blood rings.

Is that pretty good for shipped? What are you hatching? This will be my first time and I have 12 blrw. I will be candling for the first time on friday, which will be 7 days. I keep practicing on store bought eggs. My other chicks are only 5 weeks old so I don't have any from them yet.

Its on par for shipped eggs. I am hatching some BBS Ameraucanas. If the egg is light in color you wont have any problems candling, as its quite obvious if there are veins. I just use my phone with a flashlight app.
