fertile/infertile egg? ? ? ? ? ? ?? ??

    hi, im incubating for the first time [​IMG] starting the 1st day as 0 i`m now on day 6 with these rhode island red eggs.
    is this a posible fertile egg or do all eggs get this dark shadow look from the yolk?????

    thanx,, i`ve got 2 ask,,,how do you know???? and do you know if all eggs get the dark area even if they infertile????

    It's really hard to explain the difference until you see it yourself. I looked at a lot of pictures and tried to compare, but until I could see one that wasn't developing next to one that was, it was hard to say for sure. Yours looks good...the dark area is larger than a yolk would be. Good luck on your hatch!
