Fertile or not??

We have a beautiful egg I found in one of our cartons sitting on our counter, not sure how long it’s been there. It had a dark spot on it so i got a flashlight and shone it into the egg. Our roosters ride a lot of our chickens, and almost epnever give them a break so we wouldn’t be surprised if it was fertile. If it is fertile I wouldn’t want to crack it.

I don't see any veins but it's impossible to tell without opening it.

It has to be incubated to start developing. It won't develop otherwise. Fertilized undeveloped eggs look just like infertile eggs
