How long will a hen and her eggs be fertile after the hen has been removed from the rooster?
I have heard reliable reports of eggs being fertile up to 30 days after a hen has been seperated from a rooster.
It takes three weeks to be sure that all the sperm has left her, but after 1.5 weeks, fertility is greatly diminished.
