Fertilized eggs vs unfertilized eggs refrigerated

This is my first year with a mated pair, so I have some fertilized eggs. My questions are:

1) by putting fertilized eggs in the refrigerator, does this retard growth or stop it completely?
2) do refrigerated fertilized eggs have a shorter shelf life then unfertilized eggs? If so what is that shelf time?

1) Eggs require heat and proper conditions to start incubating. If they are in a fridge then they will not develop at all.

2) I do not believe fertilized eggs last any less than non fertilized eggs.
