Field Trip!

Today I got to take our 12 assorted pullets to my son's preschool class. The RIR fell asleep in a girl's lap. They were so good! They were gentle with the birds, and we got to talk about how to tell what color egg a chicken might lay. They were fascinated with the Easter Egg chickens, but the Turken made the day!

How fun!!!! I love to show my girls! And my turken would have been the hit of the day too - funny lookin lil thing.

Yay for chicken field trips! I'm bringing our 2 bantam pullets to my DD's 3rd grade class today! I'm just worried about the poop!!
