Fighting hens or roosters

    Saw this happning today. We are still not sure what gender they are. Any ideas?

    From the picture the fighting looks a bit intense for hens but it is hard to tell from a picture. It is also hard to identify the gender from this picture.

    At 3 months, with combs and wattles that red and well developed, they are cockerels. Male specific feathering should be showing up within the next few weeks.

    I agree with junebuggena, and once you posted the other picture there is no doubt you can see the saddle feathers starting to come in.
