My two Silkie hens are fighting over eggs...they are both trying to sit in the nest (on the floor) and they are back and forth stealing the eggs from one another...and I am sitting here waiting to put some in the homemade incubator...*sigh*

Aren't they pains? I have two that have done this twice now. Go broody at the same time, then spend three weeks stealing the eggs from each other and sitting on each others heads. When the chicks hatched though, they managed to nicely share mother duty with each other.

    LOL...funny

I got my eggs for the incubator...not that I really needed...but my girls and I made a homemade one and they are excited to use it...the hen can keep the rest of her eggs to fight over with the other hen...
