Our first FARM FRESH EGG in about a YEAR or more!! im pumped. you can DEFINITELY tell the difference in a farm fresh and a store bought egg.

well my hens last year were killed by a predator in the fall and didn't have any birds over the winter. i purchased chicks in the spring and it took them 33 weeks to lay but heck they DID!!!!

no joke my last red sex-link layed at 3 months so this was pretty bad...

i had to wait 38 weeks for my austrolorpes to lay... but now i get 1 a day from one of them. still waiting for the other to lay she's almost 40 weeks now. she needs to get on it doggonnit lol. and i have 5 2 and 3 y/o hens that haven't laid for me since they got here. i should be getting at least 8 a day.
