Hi all! I purchased my first 4 chicks back in May from a local feed store (nope not TS), I bought 4 black australorps. They are interesting little gals, not laying yet, constantly roaming into the neighbors yard (they don't mind at all), and chasing my dogs! Yes they actually chase off my 8 year old border collie/mix. They are all fairly friendly, very skittish and do not like to be touched often.
Just yesterday we picked up 4 more gals from a friend who bought an assortment of bantams from a swap. We have 1 EE, 1 Silver Sebright, 1 miscellaneous, 1 that is either a Gold Sebright or an EE. She (to me) to is identical to the silver sebright. Only time will tell. My profile pic is of the new 4, and I also posted a thread "taking guesses on breed" to see if anyone has suggestions on the breed of my 1 miscellaneous gal. Thanks for reading.
