    My quail have finally started to lay...they are right on schedule which is good...the males have just started doing some crowing and trying to mate. I moved a pan that I have that I fill with shavings and put in the pen and found 2 quail eggs!!!
    They were nice sized eggs to...good shells and membranes. Hopefully all the gals will start laying soon!

    Are you hatching the eggs? Are the eggs big enough for gourmet appetizers? I have no clue about raising these birds. LOL
