Morning all I have a 4x3 meter aviary with a portion closed of with nesting boxes, birds don't enter go inside enclosure , any reason for this, they roost outside ? is there some reason my birds wont go in enclosure. Thx Chris
They will roost in highest perches. Make the perches in the aviary lower.. and ones in the shelter higher. They won't go into a dark area. Do you have window in the enclosed area? You could add a light inside the shelter.. that way.. in the evening they will be drawn to the light to roost. Also add feed and water in the shelter. You could lock them in there about a week so they get used to it and used to the places they like to sleep.
