Finding chics

Hello everyone!
Please help! Im a newbie, and in search of a couple specific breeds! Ive done some research and made my decision.
Anyone in southern CA? I would really like to find the chics as local as possible. Suggestions are welcome! I am looking to start small with 4 birds. 2 Golden comet and 2 Barred rock.

Blacksmiths Corner in Bellflower usually always has barred rock chicks in stock this time of the year. We purchased our barred Rock hen from them this year and I couldn't be happier with her. She has the best temperament out of all the birds we own. Wes feed in El Monte also had barred rock chicks last time I was there. Good luck with your search and hope this helps
