Looks very secure, Like the solar security lights

Is the AWW box under the coop a poop catch?

Yay, they made it through the first night, and went into the coop when it got dark [IMG]

Quote:Nope, it's just to keep it off the ground. Good idea though, I should look into doing something like that!

Thanks! My hubby does good work [IMG] I had to fight him on the hardware cloth (he wanted chicken wire) and he thinks the cement blocks are overkill; but I figure I can take those off once the grass grows around/through the mesh.

Ha ha, I hear you on the cement blocks. I have them all the way around my run skirt. DH says we don't need them but they are additional piece of mind.

How pretty! Not only a safe place for your chickens, but also something nice to look at in your yard! [IMG]

Question for you all. We have 2 chickens in there right now, do you think we could fit another or should I stick with 2? The doghouse/coop is about 9 square feet (the run is about 32 sq ft) so I'm thinking we should stick with 2 until we can make/get a larger coop in the future if we decide to expand.

    What do you think?
