Yet again the Jumbo Cornish X after moving the tractors, hauling feed and water in the Southern heat (heat index of 105 today!)are well worth the effort as we processed 13 more this morning. In the past few days we have put up a total of 45 out of 80.Made chicken stock too. Another member on here Frugal has a great stock recipe, I did not roast this batch though as before.Enjoy!
These were 10 weeks old in the pic.

sorry if i'm bugging you, but, what do you wrap your birds in to keep them from getting freezer burn? Foil? or ziplocs.. or a combo or what? thanks!

We have thought of getting a vacuum sealer too. We wrap them in freezer paper, then plastic wrap and a ziploc bag and have not had any problems. They will NOT fit in a gallon freezer bag; you have to use a 2 gallon bag or larger.
