Three faith based movies that I enjoy tremendously.

All by Alex Kendrick, and the fine people at Sherwood Baptist Church
in Albany, Georgia. I'm not saying this to be in favor of one religion or
    one church over another.

Just three great movies in this day and age that I consider as worth
watching. I've watched each one several times. Matter of fact, I've bought
each one several times. Loan them out to people, they loan them to another
friend...I'm on my fourth set now.

Has anyone else here seen them? Like them? Dislike them?

Rumor has it that a fourth movie bt group is out now...COURAGEOUS, about
three police officers. I can't wait.

Matter of fact, if you've got a good faith based movie to recommend, please
    let me know.

I've seen Fireproof and Facing the Giants. [IMG] I thought Fireproof was rather cheesy, but the actors did a good job with the script they were given. Facing the Giants was AWESOME. (This is from somebody who despises football. [IMG] )

I didn't like fireproof at all. It felt like they were to busy preaching to tell the story.

    I really liked Left Behind.

I loved all three of these movies. There is a movie out, but I am not sure if it is on video yet called Grace Card and I would highly recommend if you like these movies. I do not usualy cry in movies but I bawled in this one.

I haven't seen the movies.. but I did read "The Love dare" (tiny airport bookstores selection).. and so saw the movie fireproof referenced there.

Touched by an Angel... always loved that show.. never see it anymore.

I recently saw a newish movie staring Randy Travis... it was interesting. It wasn't as well made as it could have been..rambling... but as always Mr. Travis carried a sincere dignity and faith I've never witnessed in another actor/actress.

Do love Sister Act.. of course [IMG]

There is a singer.. from a very long time ago.. and one particular church my family was once affiliated with. I cried the day I found my remaining cd broken, I have never found a person or place with any of his old music, and I don't know if I will.
Dave Lutz was his name. The best christian music I've ever heard....I also cried the first time I ever heard one of his songs (when I was a teen)... like "Daddy's Arms'... "My first Love"... sniff...

Ok.. done pouting now. If only... if only I could find it.

The Reverend Dave Lutz, passed away July 13, 2007. Makes his music
    a hard to find treasure.

Grace Card, just released in theater this year, is not yet out on DVD. I'll
    be waiting.
