Does anyone know when the first show in nc is?
The next show is mid-September in Fayetteville at the Charlie Rose Expo Center. It is an APA sanctioned show.
Sep 11-19 -- Central Carolina Fair -- Greensboro, NC -- Greensboro Coliseum Complex
** Oct 2 -- Eastern Carolinas All Breed Bantam Show -- Camden, SC ** (may no longer exist, need to check)
Oct 30 -- FPC Fall Show -- Morganton, NC -- Burke County Fairgrounds
Nov 6 -- Old English Jamboree -- Salisbury, NC -- Rowan County Fairgrounds
Nov 13 -- CFF Fall Show -- Greensboro, NC -- Guilford Extension Service arena
Nov 20 -- Anderson all Bantam Club -- Clemson, SC
Nov 27 -- Forsyth Fowl Fanciers Club Fall Show -- Winston-Salem, NC -- Dixie Classic Fairgrounds
I will be at the shows in Morganton, Winston-Salem, and probably Salisbury.
Which shows out of the 2 Greensboro and Winston-Salem shows are the best?
Quote:The first greensboro show is part of the fair. It is fairly small.
The Greensboro show is very small and outside there are very few sellers/buyers. Winston-S is normally the largest of the Fall shows. It has been a bit smaller the last couple years, but still alot larger then the greensboro show. There are normally quite a few sellers and a good amount of buyers outside.
Quote:Hey Matt... I have been trying to find entry info on the Camden SC show, do you have any contact info?
Quote:Contact info from last year was:
But I have heard that club and show fell apart and is no longer being ran.
Oh my DH is gonna wish I hadn't seen this!! We live right outside Greensboro. We'll be gone during the first one.
Is it ok to just come walk around and look?
Quote:NO, you have to bring money and a cage/carrier to take the birds you buy home in. Leave the restraint and self control at home. Buy what ever you see.
All NC shows(except the one during the fair) are FREE for everyone to come, walk, look, talk, gossip, talk, and enjoy the birds. Did I mention the chicken talk?
