Acquired a friend for Solo our lone gosling, a 5wk old Buff gosling. The name does no justice to the fantastic colours of the feathers. Peachy pearlescent, how amazing, and am now in love with this lovely breed. She is about twice the size of Solo, and am struggling with a name...

what about Gerty! [IMG] If we had more room, we probably would get some buffs along with pilgrims and some dewlap toulouse. [IMG]

The buffs are a pretty bird;) The bonus is a great personality! They are smart too. Good luck with yours [IMG].

we love our Buff geese (Pancake and Flapjack)- they are about 6 weeks old now and think they are lap dogs! They love to snuggle and be hand fed. [IMG]

We have gone with the very unoriginal name of Buffy! She is quite a feisty and had not been handled much up to now...will try and get some pics of her today.

    They are both beautiful.
I love the photo with both of them napping together.
    Congratulations!
